i have just decided to verify my paypal through my brothers credit card. i just wanted to know how does these things go ? after entering my cc details they will deduct some $ from the cc then after that wat will happen ? plz explain its the process in detail. thankx

hi mahesh paypal will take $1.95 from ur credit card but when you will get CC monthly statement there one verification no you will get (4 digit),then you have to put that no in the paypal account verification area,then paypal will return back ur $1.95

okay, i have successfully entered the cc details. they deduct 1.95 $ from cc. now, they said that i will get 4 digit code in ma card transaction . can u tell me how does this 4digit looks like , i mean to say, will they clearly tell the 4 digit code in the transaction details or it will be like XXXXpaypal .. ??

Dear Mahesh, After adding the credit card they will deduct $1.95 from your credit card as confirmation.This amount will be credited back to your paypal account after 48 hours.But i dont know whether you can add your brother credit card as you have to fill in the card holder name in the column.If it does not match with the paypal account then they may not accept it.

Yup this is correct. After they have successfully verified the card, wait for the bill and check out the 4-digit code next to the entry of the charge from Paypal. Go to your account, enter the code and it's done. Cheers~

I don't think they deduct anything. I believe that they just verify the information.

They will dedcut a small amount on the card to verify that the card is an active card. I'm not sure how it will work with using a card that is not yours. They may accept it but there is a chance they will deny the verification because the card is not in your name.
