How you could make money recycling?

I recycle my cans every two weeks.I dont get a lot of money.What else can you recycle to get more money.Is it true by smashing your cans you will get more money? What i mean the cans would weight more. I also recycle glass bottles, and milk cartons, but i need to know what else can I recycle.

First of all, let me say welcome to myLot sabree31. I find this a pretty interesting discussion that you have started here.
I think different cities have different faciilities that allow for different things to be recycled. And some things you get paid for and some you do not. I know that you can recycle old newspapers in some towns.
A totally different outlook on recycling and making money from it, may be to have a yard sale or garage sale or even sell old things on eBay that you do not use anymore. I have had pretty good luck selling some books on there recently.
