Help! Ideas needed on how to make extra money to support myself while travelling

Hi al, I am currently in Peru(as you can see on my profile!) and am 3 months in to a(hopefully) 18month trip around South America. The problem is, although it is super cheap here, due to the economic crisis in the UK(where I am from) I was unable to save quite as much as I hoped and so my budget is running out way faster than I originally planned. I basically have enough left for 3 months, if I live on a shoestring and I would like to know if any of you guys have tips on how I can save money, make money and generally keep myself afloat for as long as possible. I plan to teach English in Colombia, and Argentina, but as for the rest I need a plan! Maybe something online to earn cash, or tips you have on how to get cheap/free accomodation?
