Well. I am looking at building a new computer from scratch, I can get my parts from the computer fair and they would have the most popular parts. I was looking at spending $1500-$1600 on the tower, the CPU and GPU I was looking at are as follows. *XFX GTX 280 *Intel Q9550 Anyone got any ideas on what mobo etc is good? And if that CPU and GPU are that good. Any opinions are appreciated.. thanks

Hm... I believe that Intel motherboards are best around.... I have been buying these boards since 5 years and none to-date has got complaints.... But for over-clockers, Gigabyte would be best. Regarding your given specs, The processor and the GPU you have chosen is the best I should say. I would love to have that processor but only 3 months back I bought Q6600... Lowest in Quad core... The motherbaord that you have selected is also one of the best available.... It seems you are doing to buid a mosnster rig and I would love to have such a rig.... Hoping that even I will be blessed some day... Best of luck buddy.... Bye.....
