have you ever been hospitalized? pls share your experience

this is the first time i have been hospitalized in my whole 33 years and this time, i had been admitted twice. first time was 3 nights, second time was 2 nights. it was a heck of an experience because we spend our holidays in the hospital, including my father's birthday last dec 24. and when i am admitted and given meds, my pain would subside and i will be okay and would long to go home. but when i go home, the pain would come back. anyway, everything in the hospital is sooooo expensive. we could not buy our own medicines, but it will have to come from their pharmacy and they are charging 50%-100% more than the drugstore outside. imagine that! and you have to pay for everything, including the toilet paper even if the room is already so expensive. well, so much for that. how about you? please share your experiences. take care all and God bless you! :-)
