So....shy did the chicken cross the road?

To get away from my wife. It seems that this year she went on a personal vendetta against the yard-bird ensuring that we ate chicken inspired dishes the majority of this past year. So what is your answer to this time honored question?

To get away from the people chasing the bird to make the bird a meal. My guess would be the chicken did not find food or other chickens to hang with, so decided to venture across the road to see what was on the otherside. :)

There actually is a rooster who lives in the parking lot of the CVS store not too far from my home. I'm sure he has a real home somewhere but I used to stop by that store almost every day before I was laid off and that bird was always there, pecking around in the grass next to the parking lot. Anyway, to answer your question...the chicken crossed the road in order to get away from one of my cats!
