Does anybody have an opinion in this world?

Debating is a fun way for people to voice their opinions an express their feeling concerning matters and topics. Why is it though that nobody seems to debate anymore? I don't mean debate all the time but occassionally. Nobody seems to be expressing their opinions on anything. It's as if they just want to agree and not have a mind of their own. Shouldn't we teach our children to debate and voice their opinion? We want strong leaders but whose going to be strong when nobody stands up for what they believe in? Maybe it's just around where i live but it doesn't seem like anybody has a good solid opinion they want to voice on anything, and thats what scary. They don't voice their opinion on little things or big things? Why is this, are they shy? Are people afraid of hurting other's feelings?

No, I don't think it is amatter of people being mindless sheep. I think that the world has turned into one large Mr Roger's Neighborhood episode. No one wants to offend anyone. Even though the older generation was taught to stand up for what they believe in.....these poor younger folks are being fed the PC version. Have your opinions, but don't bother anyone with them. Stay strong in your beliefs, but do not impose on anyone else's., It was a sad day when Politically Correct became the common language.
