Freelance for Teenagers? Any ideas?

I've been looking for a decent freelance writing/task job I could complete to get a little pocket change. Or to get enough pocket change to actually amount to something. I'm a teenager and don't meet every age requirement for freelance writing sites, which is kind of annoying. But I do have parental approval to use legit freelance sites. Anyway, I was hoping fellow mylotters could help me out and recommend a good freelance site or two (or more) that would suit a mature teenager with an opinion and love for writing. It doesn't have to be writing related, but something a young adult could do if they put their mind to it without getting into anything business or marketing related. I'm open to a lot of ideas, so shoot.
Thanks,
Nubi

Does freelance need qualifications or requirements for teenagers? Is it legitimate and paying?

What do you mean by freelance? A freelance job can be a variety of things. Certain freelance sites and jobs have different age requirements. And there are a lot of scams out there claiming to be a freelance site that will make you lots of money.
What kind of 'freelance' (job?) are you looking for?

I'm glad you've gotten some helpful responses to this topic, but I wanted to suggest another idea. This won't give you pocket change right now, but you could start writing now and save up your work until you turn 18. This would be a good thing to do if you're someone with lots of ideas of things to write about; of course, freelance jobs generally tell you explicitly what to write about so you don't have to come up with the ideas yourself, but on writing sites like Triond the writer usually picks what he or she wants to write about personally. I actually ran a reviews web site as a teenager; eventually I closed the site and ended up losing most of my reviews due to a poor backup plan, but if I had been more careful I could have made a bundle when all the review sites started cropping up (well, Epinions was around when I was a teenager I think, but I wasn't aware of it). The #1 reason people get discouraged with writing sites like Triond and Associated Content is that their writings never earn them much passive income from page views, but if you were to submit many articles at once I'm sure you'd have a couple of "hits" that would start earning for you immediately.

Hey Nubi, I'm making about three hundred dollars from my top two sites. You have to be at least 13 to join, if you are you can check out my blog- it's the link at the top of my profile. Hope this helps, good luck.
