A test match started on the Boxing Day. Australians had a good start and Could you belive the result of the test match. After scoring 394 in their first innings with the help of Ponting's century, Australia had South Africa under pressure when they were reeling on 198 for 7. It was an extremely sensible innings played by duminy along with Steyn to rise the South African team from pressure and bring them to a position from where they could have not lost the match. Giving a 60 run trail to Australia, South Africa had the match in their favour by bowling out Australia for just over 200 runs. And well executed by the opening pair, South Africa created histroy by defeating Australia on their home ground after 16 years and winning the series by 2-0. It was a good test match to watch and witness the glory of cricket. Now with most of the Australian players out of form or injured, it seems difficult for Australia to win the 3rs test at sydney. But it has been a spectacular year of cricket.
