I am a Teacher and I am Preferred to use online communication to my students because even I am far from them i can still have any contacts with them ,, since even i have my degree but i am still doing my master degree to complete my teachers degree.. and i think this way of learning to my student have a very big impact to all students even we teachers because it helps our work to make it more easy ..... and through emails, forums, website where you can post everything even there actual samples for there assignment you can post it there through also multi media its helps them how to give the proper samples for there assignment to make it more eas y for them to understand. SO how about you guys have you gone to this way to your student learning? because through this one we can share our knowledge not only on one particular area but as will as the other country right?

first of all, distance education is the politically correct term for a teaching method that employs the use of ICTs and other non-traditional pedagogical methods in the teaching-learning process. it is also known as distance learning, online learning, e-learning, and others which involves the internet platform as its centerpiece. the thing about distance education is that it does not work for every curricular subject. and you have to take into consideration also a lot of things if you really want to employ this strategy in your teaching methods. like for example, would you employ distance education principles to students who are in the mountains and or barrios? for one, do they have the technological resources for this? okay, they have computers, but do they have access to the internet? how well-versed are they in terms of ICT language and all that stuff.
in the healthcare profession, like medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and others, the use on online education methods are strictly kept to a minimum. these professions handle delicate lives that nothing can ever replace the value of learning in a real environment. although there are simulations and virtual reality programs that somehow mimic real-life scenarios, it is still a very different story if you are there in the actual setting.
what am i getting at? well, i am a college professor and have been teaching others in the healthcare profession different modalities just to ensure quality teaching-learning experiences. i have earned my Master's, Diplomate, and Doctorate degrees and have been very proficient at it. so, the question as to whether to integrate the extensive use of distance learning principles in education is purely an academic question. unless everyone has access to ICT, it will and SHOULD never take the place of old-school pedagogical methods.

yeah you have to try it ... especially if you are master teacher and you can be able to attend your classes...in my case i have to stick to online because even if i am not with them i can still talk to them i know what are they're problem regarding my subjects ,, because i dont like to fail student also and because again i believe that if the student fail your subject therefore you are not a good teacher! or a mentor to your future student teacher too.
