Hi Friends, I am facing a problem with my Kingston pen drive(2GB).
For every folder present in the pendrive, there is another folder of the same name present in that very folder. I hope you got it, what i meant.
And this folder, i can't delete beacuse i receive an error msg, that the folder is open or busy(something like this only).
Now how should i delete these folders. And even i can't format my pendrive, because the error says its open, or busy(something like this only!).
I think i got this problem because once my friend pulled out the pendrive off the PC, without closing its folder.
Please help me.. How should i format it. I even cannot remove it safely, like we remove other USB devices, because again, i get the error that the device is busy!!!

I think your pendrive is infected with suspicious virus, these are the symptoms of virus. You know the main source of virus infection is from pendrive and internet so it is important to be cautious while using pendrive exactly while downloading from net so before you must scan it with anti virus software. If it is not working with your system then you can try with other system and scan the drive and later format it. It may helpful

I am sure that your pen drive has virus in it try it to format in LINUX operating system because all virus can not work in linux and more over many virus are created for windows only so it may work if try formatting it in linux.
If your pen drive is in warranty just try to exchange it then your problem will be solved
