It is very possible. I have seen it before. Infact, a very rich girl fell in love with my younger brother and she loves him so much.

Yes, it does happen in the real life. And don`t see nothing wrong there. But as for a man- it must be really hard for him to accept that his woman earns more then him. Not because it makes her independent, but more because it shows that she is more skilled in getting the money and sustaining the family, and not him! That might be the negative part of `Rich Girl- Poor Guy` in the real life stories.

Well, it does in real life and actually all that shows in movies are mostly taken from real life. rich girl and poor boy combi is too old and is going on for years now.
