are you happy with what you have ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

in life, it's the journey that counts, and not the destination, hence, we only have two choices to make: either we choose to be happy on what we already have, or wait to be happy until our dreams are realized. which would you prefer? for me, i am already content with what i have, and contentment is tantamount to happiness. the good things that tomorrow would bring, if any, would be considered a surprise, a blessing, a bonus. isn't it great?

No matter what you have, you always want more. I have a small house with small lving room and no family room, small kitchen, no dishwasher and really, no room to put one and we have carpet in the kitchen! And can't afford right now to replace it with tile, especially since I'm out of work. But I think of all the people who either will never have their own house, or the many many people who have lost their house to foreclosure. I also got this house late in life - lived with my mom till I was 45. My late late thirtys and early 40s it looked like having my own house was never going to happen for me. So with that in mind, I love it.

several months ago i got ill.at that time i wished that if i could get well, i would value everyday and what i had.now i get better and i feel very satisifed for i am healthy, having a caring family and a good job.
