hi audre...it is tough for sure. a while back i was looking for a job and fill out several apps. i often heard they'd call me back but didn't. i guess it's better than calling you in and interviewing you and then you don't get the job. that's a waste of everyone's time. you hang in there and keep at it. that's the only way to get a job. try to keep positive about it. hold on. and definitely pray.

Hi There! That happened to me too before so what I did is apply online for a job since that is what they prefer nowadays. They don’t like walk in applicants but they prefer online applicants so that they can review your resume then call you if you are qualified or fit for their job description. That is what they do now especially here in our country… There are lots of online job web site now… like jobsdb or jobstreet… maybe you can try to register…. Or find a site that offers jobs in your country so you can scan and submit your resume.
Goodluck! Thanks for the discussion! Happy New Year and Happy HOlidays! Cheers!

You must be young. They are busy! If you want a job there you need to be proactive and assertive. You need to wait, about 48 hours and then call them. Don't be rude. Be very nice and very much to the point. You are interested in the job and curious as to the status of your application. You wonder when you will be hearing back from someone who that person is. If they haven't had time then see how long the app will be valid. Keep calling them back. Ask for the person they told you was the one that should be calling you back. Don't be argumentative or anything. Just wondering about the status and when you can expect a return phone call. If they can't tell you be attentive to you then why do you want to work there in the first place? And, don't make them your only opportunity. Be proactive and check out other opportunities. Good luck!
