When we loose our pets or when they die, or when they disappear for a 1 week we become very nervous and stressed. They are just animals!
So: do You think that a pet in Your household is as much important and equivalent as a real member of Your family? Or You disagree. Have You ever lost a pet? Did You grief a lot?

In my opinion, pet animals like cats, dogs are definitely like members of our family. Pet dogs show their emotions by moving their tails and helps in protecting house from enemies. We also show our emotions to our pets by calling with a good name and feeding them. They are definitely the members of your family who takes care of you. It is natural that I will be in grief for much time when I will lose my own pet.

Yes, dogs are doing everything to protect their `family: humans. Sometimes I think that they think that they are humans, right? Hehehe. Interesting...

My pets: 2 birds,1 dog, are very much a part of my family. Don't you think it hurts the pets to loose their masters? I think so.

Yes, probably they do grief...But in a way that something is missing. I don`t really believe that they understand what really happened with their masters!

yeah, my puppy ate some rocks and had to stay the night at the vets office and I cried. It was his first night away from home and I just hated the thought he was in a kennel in a strange place. I worried all night and could not wait to pick him up. I once heard that to love an animal opened up another part of the soul. I truly believe this. Chance our lab has even changed my husband. I am serious. I don't see how you cant treat them part of the family you grow to love them and it is unconditional because you always have to wait on them hand and foot their whole life.

I think that all of my pets are apart of my family. I have owned many pets and have lost many pets. I do grieve when my pets die. We form sort of a bond together in life. My kids have also felt this way. I think that it is an important thing for my kids to learn so that they can learn compassion.
