To be enclosed in it with all the animals for that long, nope not me! I wouldn't have minded being there at the end to greet him and the animals off the Ark though.

You can imagine all the work though it would require to clean up daily..I imagine the animals had their movements that had to be picked up..;)+

I want that so much but that was long long time ago. God wanted me to be born this period.
Noah and all there in the ark were there for I think 150 days, not 40 days and nights only.

What makes you think that they were on the ark so long? Do you have some source to support what you believe to be the length of time they spent there?+

I wonder how the people inside felt..imagine not being able to get out of that ark for 40 days and nights..I wonder if some people had their patience tried;)+

Hi, this post is something different from the others, well for me wanted too. I believe god definetely would have planed properly before he send eight of his choosen children into the boat. I guess there could have a proper partition for Noah's family and for the animals!

I think it would have been an interesting Experience. One full of many wonders. The only thing is, what about the Smell? How did he keep it from becoming too overpowering?

I love the story of Noah's Ark and how Noah was so dedicated to God and what God told Noah to do but I would not have wanted to be be on the Ark. I'm sure it did'nt smell very nice but, if I was born back at that time I would have wanted to be on that Ark because everyone else in the world drowned.

I sure wouldn't want to drown ..and I guess choosing between the smell and drowning is a no-brainer;)+

Even though I love animals I'd have to say that I would not have liked to have been on Noah's Ark, my reason for this is that I get seasick, so unless they had something to combat that way back when I would have had to stay on shore and drowned.

The only reason I would not like to be on one is that the animals (and people) would have to start smelling after awhile!!

I would say more courage was demanded of the wife..After all not only did she have to listen to our husband's demands but I am sure she was the one cleaning up after all those animals;)+

I would like to have been there for just a short time. Say, maybe if time travel was possible, you know. Go back for maybe 30 minutes or so. Why? What would I do? Kill those two mosquitoes!

What an interesting question, I have never really thought about it. Yes, I guess I would have enjoyed it in a way, I do love animals. However, they were basically just stuck on that boat for all that time, I am sure it got somewhat stinky, and dirty. So in the end, I would have to say, no, I don't think I would have wanted to be on it. But it would be neat to be part of something so large in biblical history.

I agree they probably did get stinky; the good thing though, is that after a few days everyone smelt the same ..so no one noticed anything odd about the smells on the boat:)+
