This Is Just Too Funny Not To Share!!

Hubby and I were watching the afternoon news and this bit of news came on, it happened last night in Greensboro NC which is just a half hour south of me. Three guys had tried to steal parts off of a car when one guy had bent down to get a tire off, having a cell phone in his pocket had accidently pushed the number 9 too long in which automatically calls 911. The dispatcher heard all that was going on and sent the police to the scene. The three idiots ran on foot however, two were captured and the third was caught a little while later with stolen goods in his car. lol How dumb can theives be? They turned themselves in!! LMBO!! Oh I love watching programs about stupid criminals but this one some how takes the cake. lol

A thief in the neighboring city robbed a bank and road away on his bicycle. The whole neighborhood was out watching where he went and when the police arrived they all pointed to the house he had gone into a whole two blocks from the bank he robbed.

How funny. I mean dumb. Interesting about pressing the #9 too long calls 911. Wonder if my phone will do that. Don't think I'll try to find out.

I agree, how funny and yet dumb.... lol I didn't know about that feature either but it's good to know and I hope it works on all phones. Not a good idea to try it though for we could get into a lot of trouble if someone were to come out. They call it abuse of the system so I agree, it's not worth trying.

You know, I didn't know that holding the 9 down would automatically call 911.... That's really good information to know! One never knows when we could be in a bad situation and not be able to move for what ever reason but if we can get to the 9 on our cell phone then we could get help. I wonder what other secrets that are out there. You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!!

me too i didnt know that holding 9 on the phone would dial 911 automatically. im glad the thieves were caught because of their carelessness and foolishness.

That's really funny! I love it when people like that get what they deserre annoyed at that cellphone for what it did to them. ther hand, I bet the police and the judges were thankful to the cellphone company for offering that service. I have the same feature on my cellphone.

Some people deserve what they get. I know what you mean about dumb criminals. When you find out about how the got caught, I think, "No wonder your a criminal; you too stupid to earn money honestly."

That is very funny,I am with you on loving to watch criminals do stupid stuff,here in a near by city a thief went down a chimney of a pawnshop and got stuck,he was there for three hours before they got him out,come to find out the flu had been closed off so he couldnt get all the way through LOL.You have a great night.

Don't these idiot criminals know that going down a chimney that they're going to get stuck? The flute doesn't have to be open, they'll get stuck anyway because it's too narrow for anyone to fit through. lol I bet this incident will be on the show too, I can't wait to see that!! LOL What about the friends who are finding out it was the one's cell phone that got them in trouble? Ooooops!! lol

hahahaha!! this is so funny!! It is like a comedy show in the movie. I did not watch or read the news today. I am living near Greensboro NC. It is just 35 minutes away from me. I'm north of Greensboro! In Ruffin which is just north of Reidsville.... where are you located? Watch the news tonight and maybe it'll be on then and you'll get another good laugh at the dumb dumbs!! lol I can't believe how stupid some people can be! These dumb dumbs must've left their brains behind in some trash bin before they went on their crime spree. lol Or maybe they left it in the car with the other stolen goods. lol

hahaha !! you are funny!!! you give me more laugh!! well, I am living in Thomasville just near Greensboro. I would like to watch the news but I am enjoying with the discussions. I have found lots of interesting posts today.And besides, hubby is watching movie on DVD so I can't see the news.. anyway, i can look at it on the net later. Happy new year to you.

Yeah, criminals are rather dumb. There was a case, I am not sure where, where a guy was going to rob a bank. He handed the teller a note, and she gave him the money. Lo and behold the dumb man wrote the note on the back of a utility bill, which had his name and address on it. The police paid him a visit

Good for them. I have always said people can't do anything any more unless they are doing it with a cellphone in their hands or on their person. Cellphone are good at times and this is one of those times, it help caught the thief Red Handed.
Nice to know you still have your sense of humor after all that is going on in your life at this time.

I agree, good for them! But I learned something new today which is holding the 9 button down will automatically call 911. That's some really useful info because we never know when we may have to use it. I try to keep my sense of humor through all this, it is hard but one can't help but laugh at a criminals stupidity, huh? lol I've been depressed now for a few days but I'm trying to work through it. It's just that I've had enough of "my life" with all it's hell but I'm trying to get through it and I will eventually. Hubby is going to his sisters for a few days to be with his step dad which will give me a break from him because he's been in such a foul mood which is understandable but dang, I need to get away from all the negative stuff every now and then.

Hey that sounds like something off the show, worlds dumbest criminals...we watch that show all the time. I bet they were surprised when the cops came driving up, and then found out who's the one who called them...haha..thats funny.

Yeah it does sound like one of the worlds dumbest crimials show but it came from the news but I bet it'll be on the that show sooner or later... Imagine what the two others thought once they found out it was their friends cell phone. Oooops!! lol
