Mylot earning

I don't usually earn a lot of money from mylot because a lot of people haven't been reading my discussions or atleast not responding to them, so I was wondering how would you get a lot of people to respond back to your discussion, I mean I know people don't usually get a lot more than 10 people, but I just want to know how to make an intresting discussion, can anybody help me?
