...who are really nice and sweet? Is there such a thing as "too nice?" If you become acquainted with a guy who says he'll always listen if you need someone to talk to, is that weird? What if you meet a guy who gives you a mini twix bar if you say you're hungry or just gives you a mini twix bar out of the goodness of his heart? How do you interpret that? Do you prefer men who are funny, sarcastic and give you lots of crap?

If he is nice, you need to be thankful, I think that word no longer exists in men today.
Anyhows you don't have to interpret men. A weather, a painting and even a collage can be interpret but you can never do that in men.
I would suggest not to interpret as you say every actions and words that a man is doing for you, basically when you interpret there are expectations and sometimes what we expect don't happen, and this cause heart ache.
If you are treated as if you are a princess, be happy! Don't give conclusion to the action.

The question seems made by a he, but the name ending with an a made me conclude that you are a she.
With these I can say, these is a vice versa situation there are girls that acts too nice also. But men like women are unpredictable by nature.

There is never "too sweet"!! Always can be more and more sweet!
Sometimes guys who are too romantic and caring scares me a little, and I become suspicious, because I feel that being too attentive to a woman is not natural behavior from the side of man. But I don`t like the feeling of `left behind` or the lack of attention, like: he prefers hanging out with his friends over me or he prefers to watch a football game over going to the shop together with me.
And I don`t like men who are too funny, sarcastic and gives me too much of craps: because it is too creepy to be real. A real man must be a man and act seriously and as an adult: to take responsibility. If a man is too funny: I would keep a distance from him, because I would not believe that he might ever become serious when it come up to serious decisions!

Well, it depends on the man’s or guy’s intention you know. I mean, my boyfriend started “courting me” with his own style… like he would bring chocolates for everyone then he will give me a lot then would say “I just decided to give this to you and the others, my uncle arrived from states”… then would send me text friendly messages… then will listens to my stories and really laughs at them… so I guess my kind of guy must be like him… hahaha… sweet but not overacting, nice and just be himself… you know…
For me, there is no guy that will always be nice and sweet forever… sometimes they will get cranky and all of that but still, they manage to take care and show that they love you in their own special way…

There are a lot of men out there that have their own different ways and habits. There is probably someone for everybody in my opinion. I don't know if there is a such thing as too nice.
Some guys that are too nice might not get as much respect though. Sometimes it is funny that way.
I am a married woman but have experience with other men in my lifetime. There are some good guys out there still. A lot of them might be taken but I would not give up if I were you.

For me, I like those silent type guys but funny guys are cool.I don't like guys that are too nice because they are just doing it in front of the girls but its alright to be so sweet.Sweet guys will make you fall in love again and again.If someone approached me and told me that he'll be my lending shoulder,I would freak out.I'll maybe investigate what his up to but if he tells me what his intentions are, I might be spending my time knowing him.

hiya..some interestin views on that one!! by the way to answer the question of guys being too nice... yeah indeed you need to be careful and watch out coz his niceness might cease anytime once he gets used to you..but then again there are nice guys who r nice by nature..they wouldnt say or hurt or be sarcastic to anyone let alone women!! im kinda in that bracket..i would never hurt or offend anyone especially women coz i really respect them right from my mother to every girl or woman on this planet. so i guess all you need to do is look for signs while he's offerin u his twix bar etc..few guys are nice these days..your lucky if you find a nice one who will do the dishes for you if ur havin a lazy night or morning..lol..yeah i mean do the cleaning up etc and let you have your day off,,u know that kinda thing.but hey enjoy your so called "nice friend" ok!! and i hope he showers you with all his tender loving care and yeah lastly "HAPPY NEW YEAR 09"

funny guys are cool. so , you see mostly our funny celebrities tend to get more ladies than the usual one. because they can speak their heart out with a laugh.
i hate guys who are too nice, and too sweet, you dont have something to look forward then. its good to have someone you can challenge yourself on.
