Regarding digital photo frames

hi peeps!
regards the sony digi photo frame and hitachi's any idea if you can keep these photo frames on 24/7 without switching them off? or do you need to turn them off? i see that the sony photo frame comes with a watch and calender display. does this need to be switched off maybe each night. both these work on electricity and no batteries for either? have any of you used any? do let me know coz i'm interested in receinving feedback and purchasing the best one soon after i receive your feedback! Sony has been always popular because of the quality that it makes in its products.
Personally I do not have a digital photo frame and I don`t feel like wasting my money on one neither. I prefer to look at printed out photos that hand on the wall and do not waste the electricity or batteries in order to work.
Well, maybe You have so many photos that it is totally necessary to put them in a digital photo frame? Hhhhmm....Maybe think again about investing Your money somewhere else...Cheers to You to.
