Do you have a premium accounts in any file-sharing sites?

I have a broadband connection and I download lots of stuff everyday from file-sharing sites like rapidshare,megaupload,etc. But still, I have never though of buying a premium account for any of the site.But many of my friends who do not even download much of stuff from these have bought rapidshare accounts so that they can download at full speed, don't have to wait and avoid download limits. But I can't because I feel, the stuff that I want to download may be uploaded to any of the filesharing site and buying a premium account anyone site is just waste of money... What do you think???

i have a premuim account in rapidshare and megaupload but i pay them with paypal i live in mexico so i use the dollars i made when i use to live in inglewood california i could give you my login name and password for rapidshare if you want to i dont lose anything.

it always pays to discuss our plans and problems in mylot. the friends around here are always generous and are helpful. that's how people around the mylot community have always been, right, vishnu_badlapur? this is what makes mylot so different from all the other sites. the friendship here is warm.

That is the problem.. Without a premium account we can't automate things... It becomes a very big waste of time to download many files.... but Universal Share Downloader software works quit good but it does not remove the download limit of the speed limit... It can only automatically wait....

hmmm .. i prefer to use rapidshare than other file sharing .. almost 75% my download is coming from rapidshare and my local country file sharing .. sometimes i just add all link in rapidshare i want to download, set up a schedule then i can concentrate on the others works....

i am sorry to tell you that i do not have any premium accounts in any file sharing sites. i have to observe tight budgeting. besides, my children do not consider it to be important.
if indeed, you can access them for free, why should you worry about having those accounts still? if it can be helped, it is best to save on expenses and keep the money on savings. the money saved can always be very useful in times of emergency situations.

Acutally, I use these sites a lot... The problem is that if we do not have an account, we have to wait for few minutes, enter verification code and then only we get to download. And to top it all, we can't download over 100 mB from any site in 10-15 minutes. So its very difficult to download a dvd movie which usually consists of 10-12 files of 100 MB each.... So it will become very convenient to download using premium account....

I have two hosting plans for the two websites I run so I have tons of storage space/bandwidth on those with full FTP access, but I also have a Rapidshare Premium Account. A friend of mine collected over 5 million points so he can create 1 Month Premium Accounts for 10,000 points. Since he has so many, he sells these accounts for $3 USD each when they normally cost $10. I bought one from him but I also have a collectors account with 9,000 points so by the time mine expires I should have enough to buy another.

Mega upload gives full speed for downloading free.... So even I like mega upload...But internet is full of rapid-share links only....

Hi friend vishnu, I am in the same boat with you. I too download from file-sharing sites. But do not have a premium account anywhere. Naturally has to cope with the limitations.
I do not even consider having a premium membership for downloading files so long as I can do it for free. As one friend have stated, money saved is always useful in needs. Moreover, I do not consider myself so busy that I cannot wait for some more time to get it for free. And I do not download movies or any such bigger files. So I am just managing without being dissatisfied.To give the premium members some extra facility, the free members like us must bear some pain, otherwise nobody will pay.

Yes thats true... Otherwise no one will buy accounts.... I download mostly movies of blueray and dvd print... so you know how much time i waste...

it depends what kind you us I make my own ringtones so I paid for ares to down load the music and audacity to make the ringtones on I have got my money worth with them it is a one time fee and it is yours. I like to play games on my computer i can download games on Ares Ultra and the dont cost me anything you can block the premium accounts so they can't be uploaded to filesharing site if you want but the stuff that you download someone has paid for them thats the best thing is that you get stuff free and you also share with other people the one you buy

It irritates me a lot... Premium accounts are very costly because we have to keep paying them very months/quarterly or yearly... If it was one time payment I would have surely brought it...
