Why is water so dangerous yet the thing that sustains all forms of life? just another mystery of nature.

Why do you say water is dangerous? Is it because you can't swim? What is so mysterious about water? (Water, water, everywhere and not a drop to drink!) Mother may I go for a swim? Yes, my darling daughter. Hang your clothes on a hickory limb, But don't go near the water.
