I just registered my first domain, and would like som suggestions.

I had a blogger account already, but just decided to take the leap into getting my own domain name. I registered with google domain registration for 10 dollars (I know I could have got it cheaper, but they allow anonymous registration for no extra cost, so I won't get spammed). It is actually done through godaddy. Anyway, I was happy to see that http://bestpaidsites.com was available. I am now considering trying to split the site up a little into a place that has not only the blog, but also a chart that compares sites, maybe a place for news from get paid to places, and who knows what else. So, do you think I should have a main site that links to all the other various sections, with subdomains such as blog.bestpaidsites, news.bestpaidsites, compare.bestpaidsites, etc. Does that sound like a good idea? What other suggestions can you share with me?
