As of right now, 31st December 2008, Bugatti Veyron is undoubt the Fastest and terms of Topspeed and Pickup. Now my question is, "How long do you think will it stay on top?", as the technology advances... maybe Aston martin might take its place ! =P

Aston Martin has definetly taken its place :-) the aston martin 77 as it is codenamed may be because of the no of cars they will make as over taken the bugati veyron in terms of speed.......although it is still the dream car i would luv to drive one day :-)

The bugatti veyron is not the fastest car. The fastest car is an American car called the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. It hit a speed of 256.19 mph/412.29kmph. It has a twin-turbo V8 with 1183-hp which beats the bugatti as well. It didn't really take that long for the bugatti to get beaten.

Yeah, Bugatii is the fastest car in the world (it reached nearly 400 km/h) and i think it will remain like that for some time altough tehnology is advancing, who knows maybe someone will surpass the Bugatii.
