Do you drink on New Years Eve? What will you be drinking?
I'll have to go to the store in awhile to pick up our alcohol. Hubby's going to have vodka with grape juice. I am going to pick up some kahlua and make white russians or just kahlua and cream. I might even get Bailey's and drink that straight.

Champagne. I drank champagne this year at midnight on New Years Eve. We were on vacation and the hotel we stayed in new we were celebrating a 20 yr wedding anniversary so they had a bottle waiting for us in our room when we checked in. New Years is not our actual anniversary, we just saved it to drink then. With our 4 yr old along for the trip, the anniversary night was not very romantic or champagne fitting.

20 years of marriage is very impressive, congrats. Sorry about it not being very romantic, I totally understand though. It will be a very long time before we'll be able to do anything like that without kids in tow!

I won't be drinking tonight. I had thought about picking something up but we don't really have the money. Plus it is snowing and blowing out so I'd rather not be out on those roads right now. It isn't much fun for me drinking at home with just me and hubby anyway lol.

We had a pretty bad snow storm, but I still went out and got a couple bottles. It wasn't easy. We over spent and didn't save the money, but I figured I'd write a check, for some odd reason they couldn't accept it, and that's weird because I haven't had a problem with that before, and nothing has happened to my account. I ended up paying with credit and probably over drew the account, but luckily I have overdraft insurance so the bank will pay it and I probably won't even get a fee, I rarely do, and we usually overdraw on a weekly basis.

If you're of legal drinking age, and are drinking responsibly, there's no reason for anyone to tell you not to.

I would love to drink and be surrounded by people I love on New Year's Eve, but unfortunately, I will be home alone with my 2 dogs. My husband had to go away on business and will not return until after 7pm on 1/1/09. I'm more of a social drinker and I don't have fun drinking alone so although I want to get drunk tonight, I guess I be sober.
I love mixing vodka, cream and baileys. I still do that once in a while. I actually use the starbucks brand instead of baileys, but both are very yummy.
