Just got the good news!

Hey everyone...Just wanted to share the good news I just received. My daughter is pregnant and she just called and told me she is having a GIRL! She already has one child, Megan who is 2 1/2. This will be our 6th grandchild. We have 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons right now. What awesome news to start out the New Year!

Congratulations to you Rhonda! (or maybe your daughter and husband
in) I think that is one of the best ways to start the New Year off. Babies are so much fun, especially when you can give them back. When you're not the one, steering cross eyed out the window at 3:00 AM, you don't have to change the poopy diapers, or plug your ears while the two year old throws a temper tantrum.
That's why being a grandparent, or in my case borrowing a friend or family members child is so much fun. We get to have all the fun, wind them up, and and send them home to their parents to deal with. Sounds like a good plan to me!
Seriously, children really are our greatest gift.

Thanks Wheel...You are so right! LOL! My husband is a huge fan of winding them up and sending them home! haha! The way we look at it is...We did our tour of duty! LOL! Now it's time to have some fun! All the best to you in the New Year also!!!

Congratulations on your great news! It's wonderful to be expecting a new grandchild...none of the morning sickness or bloating and all of the fun after the baby is born. My husband and I have 9 grandchildren and we welcomed two new granddaughters into the world this year. Being a grandparent is great!

hey there congrats. well i m having a girl too. just found out last week. its a nice feeling to be pregnant and now i knw its a girl. hope everything goes on fine.
