well, as i'm looking around myLot today, i'm seeing a lot of people wishing everyone a Happy New Years.
and although i really do wish everyone peace, prosperity, and all the best in 2009,
this message is not for you.
this message is for all our canine friends......so if everyone could just bring their dogs to the computer......i have a message for their safety.....i'll wait.

Yeah, I have something to add sconi..... Can anyone lend me a friggin' dog so I can share this message with it? 
If we could also try to convince them to stop sniffing butts and licking themselves then licking people as well, I'd be pretty happy actually.

actually James, since New Years Eve is over.......i'm gonna take you behind the scenes of this discussion.
i don't even have a dog.....i used to (see photo on profile page) but she's chasing rabbits in that "great meadow in the sky" now.
anyways, i was watching the news yesterday morning, and the weatherman said that line, so i thought, i'm gonna build a discussion around that line.....and it turned out pretty fun. 
also you'll notice most people that responded don't have dogs either.....so i guess it was more for the people.
now, don't tell anyone what i just told you.....it's a secret.

So much for secrets you two. Just read everything. Remind me never to tell either of you anything personal could end up on here lol. Anyway guys, it's great to have lighthearted conversations. Especially at this time of the year. Makes for a great start. Have fun.

If I had a dog, I'm sure he would really appreciate that. I know I do and will remember when I get one to take the keys off him. Just in case. Oh, and to put a bib on him or her.

My dogs are sending you peace sign back. They are watching special teat they get today. My older dog is going to be 10 years old soon...

Well I don't have any doggies...but two kitties....they plan to fly on my broom with me visiting each and every MyLotter to wish them a Happy New Year..my broom is set for autopilot so now worries about drinking and driving...uh, flying

Thanks for that message - my boss is outside right now so I have the computer for my own.
I am a Shetland sheepdog and I am a little tiered right now. They made this dammed loud noise last night. Seems to be that humans have to be crazy one night of the year- okay may be a few days to (they call it carneval).
Could sleep well last night, so I will take boss bed, if she is not looking for a large sleeping session.
Just wanted to say thanks for the message and wishing you a wonderful 2009- may all your wishes come true (only the good ones).

next time the humans have a party just put some whipped cream in and around your mouth, then run around in circles growling and knocking everything over.
this is sure to scare the humans away from your home and give you some peace and quiet.
just make sure you give your boss a knowing wink or else you might get hauled off to the pound.
