I have bought two of them...they are easy to fix and very good. The other night I made one that was broccoli and cheddar...I added a half a bag of california blend veggies and it was outstanding. These come in pouches and all you do is to add water! If you run across them they are very good. Including the chicken wild rice which I added a chicken breast to....a very good value too!

Oh my Gosh I love them. I got some for my mom last year and she looked at me funny. And knew what I was thinking. Try it then say something. She loves them as well. She gets them here in Minneapolis as up north she say's they cost more. You have a Happy New year. Your friend onlydia

What kind did you try? I also tried the potato and I think it needs some bacon or something in it....the others I just loved!

I got the broccoli and cheddar as I really love that kind of soup. Plus I got my Mom the wild rice one. I don't like that one as I don't care for rice. My Mom how ever loves them all. She put ham in the potato one and I just put in you guessed it right cheese and bacon. I'm crazy about the cheese. Have a great day. Your friend onlydia

This is so ironic. I was in Aldi's the other day (these affordable grocery stores are starting to pop up everywhere) and I saw a sign for Bear Creek soups stating that they were BOGO and I would've tried them had I been able to find them. I had never seen them before so I was looking for a can or a jar of soup. Now, I know that I should have been looking for a pouch. Maybe I'll go back and get some tomorrow and come back and give my review. Happy New Year to all.

What is BOGO? We were supposed to get an Aldi's here in my hometown but with the economy the way it is the project has been put on hold....I can go to one just about 16 miles from here. Alot of my friends recommend it.....try them and give your review too! I found the potato a bit bland so next time will add some bacon or ham.

I hope you get one soon. It really is a refreshing change to the traditional supermarket. BOGO is buy one get one FREE... Have a Happy New Year - I hope it brings an Aldi's closer to you.

I love these soups. We buy a few of them every time we visit the Christmas Tree Shop. My hubby's favorite is the tortilla soup. It is really good.

Mmmmmmmm, broccoli and cheddar, sounds totally yummy! I've never heard of them but I know for sure I'm going to look better at the stores. Sounds nice and easy too, my kind of cooking, haha. I love soup in the wintertime, warms ya right up, mmmmmm.

I have made the broccoli and cheddar many times, but the grocery store has been out of it the last 4 or 5 times that I have looked for it.. I made it with the rice and chicken.. It makes quite a bit for the one bag.. I haven't tried any of the others but I do love the broccoli and cheese.. I need to try looking for it at another store if I can remember to, I will have to make a list, because you have made me hungry for it..

I've never had them. Actually, I don't remember ever seeing Bear Creek soups in any of the stores, either. Of course, I usually don't spend much time in the soup aisle.

I am going shopping today and think I will try some of this great sounding soup. I have never seen them at Aldis(which is the greatest store ever, by the way. I hope you get one in your area soon)but they probably have them at Walmart, I would assume. We are supposed to be getting freezing rain and more snow in the next few days, so a pot of soup would really hit the spot! Thanks for the great advice!

I like their soups too and like you, I add things to them to kick them up a notch. They are a good value because you get more for your money.

The Bear Creek soups sound quite good. I've not heard of them but I have seen soup mixes that come in pouches. How convenient! This is no doubt the proper weather for soups. It's been a little cool lately down here so, last week, I made homemade cheese soup and homemade chili. I'd forgotten how good that cheese soup is. I'm already ready to make it again, lol! Anyhoo, I love broccoli and cheddar and your Bear Creek soup mixes sound yummy. I'm gonna see if it's at our grocery stores. Thanks for sharing.

I have tried a few of the Bear Creek soups in the past. I was not too thrilled with the Potato Soup one, but the Minestrone was pretty good. I bet I would like the broccoli cheese one.

I had a bag of it before. I thought it was OK, nothing outstanding. I don't think I added anything to it though. That may be where I made my mistake. I think soup is good and I am going to make a homemade split pea and ham tonight. We need something warm with all this cold weather we are having.

Hey jill! That does sound very good! I like that idea of adding them to veggies! I love california blend! That is my very favorite too! I will try them if I see them in the store the next time I do my grocery shopping! I am always looking for something new and different to add to my menus! I like the idea of adding chicken or veggies to them too.

That one is very good. They are a pretty good price too. The chili they make isn't too bad either.
