2008 is ending in a day time and we had seen the drastic changes in economy in most countries toward the last quarter in 2008 and now this will snowball to 2009 and to most, the year ahead would be tough and earning money would be more difficult as more countries would go into recession and many more would lose their jobs. so how would you view 2009, while i want to be optimistic, i am preparing for the worst in case it happened here in my country and to those around me and whom i know cos i have already seen my friends in trouble. I dun think 2009 is pleasant for me and i will need to work harder to make sure the standard of living i am enjoying now dun drop or decrease

Well I HOPE 2009 is a much better year because 2008 was really bad for me and my family (and most of the world too).
There were a lot of really bad things that happened but I try to find the bright spots and focus on the good. My husband changed careers and I've been pretty upset about it because it has been a hardship on us but things are starting to look better and he's starting to work more and make more money. I also found a job which is close to home. We have a roof over our heads and for the most part, we are able to eat good food.
My son will graduate from high school in 2009 and our lives are going to be changing again in so many ways but I plan on doing things differently this coming year. I plan on saving as much money as I can and not spending on useless unneeded things. We will be frugal this year and I hope by the end of 2009, I can look back and say it was a good year for us.
Happy New Year to you!
