I downloaded skype and my microphone is not working

Many of my friends told that skype is good messanger to use. I downloaded and started to use it and created id in it .What to do my system is not detecting microphone. Please Could you help me

Yes, this is the normal problem and is a fault in Windows. It is too elaborate a solution to post it here, but Skype have a very good help topic to guide you through it. Basically it is the settings in Microsoft microphone options and they are buried pretty deep. Good luck.

Tahnx for your response my dear friend. I stopped using skype due this nonsense attacks which affects microphone. Now iam using yahoo messanger which i feelcomfort and safe. Thanx my lot

For that one i can't do anything Harsha because i refer that site but i don't know why your microphone's are not working any how try another set.
