You all must have heard of DA VINCI CODE be Dan Brown. When it was published it was much criticized because of the things written in it in relation to Jesus Christ.
What do u think, was it a complete friction or just declared friction to avoid criticism and was a truth??

I've seen him interviewed about this, and I believe him when he says he wrote it as a total work of fiction.
In our church, we had a 6 or 8 week study right about the time that the movie came out so we could see what the Bible really said and what history really said. Most of the book is total bunk. But...he's made a fortune, probably, on people starting discussions like this and new people running out to get the book or movie.

Well, if we assume Jesus DD exist, that's a part of true. Also, the Louvre Museum exists and Da Vinci paintings do as well. That's what makes interesting a book, the mixture of real facts and fictional ones.
So yeah, Da Vinci Code contains elements of truth... but only related to the context. The "other" stuff, the one that scared people and so, is impossible to prove, so it belongs to a different matter, faith.
By the way, Dan Brown wasn't the first in saying that Jesus got married to Magdalene, or about he having kids. Stories like that have been written since centuries ago.
