I am sitting here on the computer doing a little MyLotting and watching the weather channel.
The Boston/New England area has some very serious winter weather problem.
It is showing like crazy, wind blowing and temperature are down in the lower 20's.
I heard that the wind was blowing so hard that it blew a tree limb down on a lady and little girl.
Are you in the Boston area?
How is trhe weather affecting you?
Here where I am in the south the weather has changed a lot since yesterday. Yesteday it was sweater weather. Today it is windy and cold.

I am in the Greater Boston area...we are about 20 minutes north of the city. It has been snowing here since shortly after 8am. We've gotten about 7 inches of snow so far, and it hasn't even slowed down a bit, altho the initial forecasts said the snow would stop by late afternoon. The snow is very wet, and because of the very low temperature (about 8 degrees!), there's lots of ice on the roads, and it builds up on windshields fairly quickly.
Thankfully, we had no plans to go anywhere tonight. My husband is due home from work shortly, and we're just planning to relax and spend some quiet time together.
Hope that all MyLotters are safe and cozy wherever they want to be tonight. Happy New Year, all!

I believe that I asked you before chevee, but I forgot, where are you located in the South?? I am curious because everytime you mention the weather, it is the same as we are having where I am at.. I am in Knoxville, TN, are you close?? We have been having a bit of wind lately and I really don't like the high winds at all, they are scary.. Happy New Year!!!!

I live in New Jersey, and we had snow today too. Not as much as was predicted. The wind is screaming outside, garbage cans are rolling out of driveways and yards, trees are blowing etc. It is COLD. the people who are in or are going to Times Square are going to freeze tonight. I don't care how many sweaters or pairs of socks you wear, with these temperatures, being outside for any length of time is asking for trouble.
Happy New Year.

Hi chevee! We are experiencing the same crazy windy snowy
weather here too! It is very cold too! Right now it is
18 degrees and it keeps dropping quickly! The wind is blowing
like mad! There has been a wind advisory out until tomorrow.
They are advising people driving to be especially careful
tonight! And since we had snow today the roads are not icing
up to make matters worse! Not a good night for New Year's Eve!
I'm glad I'm staying home!
