I made a friend over the summer at college. We became close and started partying together, shoppiing, u name it. Now, its new years eve...we are planning to go to a party tonight to celebrate the new year. She calls me like a hour ago and says she doesn't Trust me, finds me suspicious and sneaky...and then she says we can still go party tonight. She said she wanted to get it off her chest.
WTF?!

That is a bit strange, I think I would be questioning whether I actually wanted to go out with someone who thought that of me! I think you should try and ask her what she meant by the comments she made or else it might cast a shadow over your good night.

kick her butt to the curb...you're obviously a better, more sincere person than she. and, why not go out ALL BY YOURSELF? it's a trip. you don't need that person as a friend(?) what you truly need is (1)water, (2)food, (3)air, (4)job...not a loser.

As I see it, two things. Maybe you just found out a little something you didn't know about her, or she misunderstood something you either did or said. Anyway, I don't like this "we can still go partying tonight," like she's doing hyou a favor. If you can find someone else to go partying with,or if you know someone who is holding a party that you can go over, call her up and say no we can't, atleast until you tell me what you meant by that.

So, what happened with this friend? I definitely wouldn't have gone to party with her after she came right out with something like that. She must have said it for a reason -- it sounds like something someone would say if they thought you had flirted with their boyfriend or stolen something from them. Then again, she might be mentally ill or have been drunk at the time. Whatever the case, I'd be wary of her from now on.

Yes, I would like to know what ever happened with this friend and if you are still friends now? Did she ever explain why she said she doesn't trust you and finds you sneaky?
