Anybody bowl anymore? I used to when I was much younger but got away from it for some reason. I think it would be good exercise and a fun social event. What are your thoughts?

I haven't in quite some time. I've always been pretty bad at it and it's embarassing. It's fun, yeah. If I had my own personal bowling alley, I could practice and get really bad with no one watching. Until then, I'll just play bowling on Wii Sports.

hi celticegle...yes indeed. i love to bowl but sadly can't do it that often. i did play a very fun game in the fall. and i know some that bowl every weekend in the fall. i'd probably go more often if i had someone to go with and someone to watch my mother. just the same it is alive and well.

I bowled once a week in a league and then occasionally on Saturdays for Russian Roulette. But since my son has been involved in high school football, I've had to quit in order to have time to work with the booster club. He's got one more year and then I'll be getting back to bowling regularly.

I use to bowl with my hubby before we were married, but after we had kids we just never had the time. We did make sure that we did take the kids to a bowling alley when they got older and they got hooked. Now my duaghter, my son, my daughter's boyfriend, and sometimes the boyfriends father will go bowling. For Christmas my son and my daughter's boyfriend got together and bought her a bowling ball and bag. The boyfriend's father got her the shoes to top it off. I guess that leaves me to get her a t-shirt for bowling..lol DCMerkle

I used to bowl a lot during my poly & army times. Now got kids have to take care of them no time to bowl anymore. Bowling is a good activity but it's a bit expensive.

yes I think it is great exercise and great fun, my neigbour is 72 and still bowls in a league he has been playing for over 50 years. I don't though, I only tried it about 3 times in my life.
