To all my friends and those friends I haven't met yet, have a wonderful 2009! Things can't get a lot worse than they've been in 2008. We can all do our best to be better people and to make the world a better place. Then let te Universe rain goodies upon us all.

Aww, don't say that. Everytime someone says, "it can't get worse" it does just that! xD
...or so's my observation anyways, maybe that's just how it works in my life.

I'm sure that nothing this year has you won't be able to handle, dearie.
(But if you've got any problems that ever panic you, whatever they are, I'm here. I'm willing to put my thought processes to work on whatever you need, whenever. I wouldn't still be on the net if I wasn't willing to do that for people).

Happy New Year to you my dear friend Joanne. I pray that your 2009 and many others here that have become my dear friends and those to be, have blessings beyond your wildest dreams. We have all come to this Mylot Land for one reason, that is to meet and enjoy each other. I know this has been a place of rejuvenation for me. I really hope that this year go good to me. In fact last year wasn't that bad but it wasn't good too. I lost my job and till date jobless. We lost a big amount of money in Share market.
But new year starts with new wishes and new hope so, may this year fulfull all of our wishes.

You are right. We can write all the New Years Resolution, or we can wish for all the good things for us... but if we dont implement our resolutions or wish and do things good for other people, we will be at a worse state that last year.
It all starts from within. Selfless acts of kindness, sincerity, love, and justice!

Thay said it all in the mind, if we look at 2009 with positive outlook in life maybe we can still make it better than 2008. We should double our effort and do our very best to strive for the better tomorrow. The best is yet to come. Slacking off and dealing in dishonesty caused most of the horrible mess we're in. Still, God never left our sides. Now we have to live up to His expectations and be much better people than we've been!

This may not be the smartest question I've ever asked, but is it 2009 in China, too. Your culture is so much older than western culture, I thought the calendat might be different.
