I haven't been to China but it's in my list of places to go before I die. This place has colorful history and interesting culture. I want to study basic mandarin before I do though just to make it a little easier to get around the place. I'll be checking the link soon. Thanks!

hi! I went to China some years ago, and I can say that it's was absolutely one of the best and wonderful place where I went... I visited X'ian, Shangaii and Beijing... among these three cities, I prefer Shangai. I think that I will remember it forever... I love that river dividing the city in two . I love both the two parts: the modern one, very similar to los angeles, with those enourmous skyscrapers, and the ancient one, with the temple of Jade Buddha.. it's something wonderful.. even the army in terracotta that I saw in X'ian was something unbelievable.. I couldn't have imagined something like this without seeing.. I really love Asia.. I would like to come back there as soon as possible... above all, I would like to visit Hong Kong and Singapore.. food is very good... even here in Italy there are some chinese restaurant... but chinese food here is disgusting, and very different from the REAL chinese food... I was particulary struck by their use of rice.. they use rice to dress meat!! strange!! I really like steam ravioli, that are typical, and... snakes!!!!

I would really love to visit China one day and the nearest I have been is Hong Kong. It would be an amazing journey if I took the train from Moscow to Beijing. It is a city with some fascinating sites. I would take a day trip out to see the Great Wall and spend some time walking on it. I would love to go to see some of the villages and meet many friendly people. I imagine I would be able to buy a lovely costume doll for my collection.
