Since you didn't say if you're a proficient sewer, I will assume you are. I would go with shirts for yourself. Then clothing for your little one, as you may have some scraps from your shirts that could be used in your little one's clothing. (I thoroughly enjoyed making clothes for my daughter when she was small. For me, it would be the teddy bears (I design and make teddy bears for a living...well an almost living ). I wasn't too keen on making aprons, of course I don't use them so I guess that's a good reason why I don't make them.
You do sound like me, I have tons of patterns (I collect them!), and it's tough finding time to do some sewing!!! Especially since I find myself leaning towards sewing bears rather than sewing for me!!!
Whatever you decide to sew, have fun making it!! That's the best part of sewing.

I am a pretty good sewer. I have started a shirt for myself and it has an empire waist and I am having trouble with the gathers. First time to ever do them!!
I LOVE YOUR TEDDY BEAR!!!! He is so cute. I can see why you won first place. I have some really cute flannel sat aside to make my teddies out of.

I learned a really cool trick for gathering. Get a piece of crochet cotton and lay it across the area that you want to gather, (make sure that you have it inside the 5/8ths seam allowance- that way you don't catch any of the crochet cotton in the seam, as you will pull it out when you finish with the seam.)then run it through the machine using a zig zag stitch to fasten it in place (make sure that you don't sew through the crochet cotton). Then take one end of the crochet cotton and gently start to gather your fabric. When you get it gathered to your satisfaction pin it to the other piece you are working with. After sewing it together just pull out the crochet cotton and your done...you'll end up with perfect gathers! Mom was swearing at doing some gathering and I told her about that trick. She was thrilled!
Thank you so much for the compliment on my bear! I just sent one to a neighbor that is in the hospital with pneumonia and a mass in his stomach. We're all worried because the man is such a sweet guy and would do anything to help you out. I am hoping that it isn't super serious...we've lost so many of the wonderful neighbors to cancer... It is such a pleasure to make them and not only sell them but also be able to give them as gifts to people who need a boost.

I would start with the easiest project. For me, this would be the aprons (unless there are gathers, although I can do those). I'd just sit down and do one from start to finish, then I'd get a better idea of what I felt like doing next.

I think I am going to do a quick shirt for myself today and then do some aprons. I need some clothes so bad. I have about 5 different fabrics to make me some clothes with.

Well I'm not sure what to tell you. But let me give ya some questions to hopefully help you narrow it down.
Are any of these projects for someone? (other then your little one)
When's the occasion?
How long does it take to sew it?
Are you likely to procrastinate?
Well I hope that it helped, If it were me I'd probably do the shirts first, depending on how excited I was to wear them.

hmm well to me it just depends are you new to sewing or are you just getting back into sewing after taking a bit of a lengthy break if so then i would start with something rather easy just to freshen up your old skills if you have been sewing for a while and are feeling rather confident i would try doing a more difficult pattern to give yourself a bit of a challenge sometimes when i am sewing for a long time on a pattern that is rather easy i will get bored with it then i have to take a break from sewing that and start sewing something a little harder for a while
