Hi y'all! Happy new year!
my ever recurring new year's resolution is to practice getting ready at less than 30 minutes. i am good at it for a the first week of january but then after that, i forget my resolution and it would take an hour for me to get ready again.
i have always wanted to move fast in the morning so that i would get to work early. but my problem is that i always get waylaid, by family members asking for help, or seeing some mess i have to clean up.
what about you? what is one thing you resolve to change every start of the year but has never been successful in doing so yet?

Every year my resolution has been to lose weight. This year I'm actually going to reach my goal! I had lap-band surgery last summer and I'm on my way!! This is the year that I'm going to finally lose all this weight!!

lol I actually don't make New Years resolutions because I know I won't keep them. I'll just forget about them. I usually tell myself that I'm going to talk more and be more outgoing. I've always hated the fact that I'm so quiet and I always tell myself that I'm going to let people see more of my personality but I don't change. I end up staying quiet and keeping to myself. Hopefully I can make myself break out of my shell one day though.

I have 3 resolutions that I rotate every year! LOL I think they're pretty popular resolutions... and a lot of other people probably pick the sames ones year and after year, after year...
1) Exercise more.
2) Lose a few pounds.
3) Quit smoking.
Unfortunatley, the only one I have had NO success at is #3... if managed to increase my activity level, and always lose the extra pounds that I gain EVERY YEAR in the winter months, but I can't ever seem to fully quit smoking! I don't even want to smoke anymore! I just can't seem to quit! Someone once told me that when you decide you really don't want to smoke anymore, you simply won't smoke anymore... YEAH RIGHT! That's a bunch of bull! I hate it... I just, SERIOUSLY, feel like I can't survive without it!!!
