How did you spend your first day of 2009?

There is nothing much special about my first day of the year. My husband and I just went to the cemetery this afternoon to visit his late aunt who raised him since his parents are in Italy. Just like before, I am doing my online activities. Nothing really special. It is very different than before.

i 've spent this day in a very simply way.. I woke up late, at about 11.30 a.m. because yesterday I went to disco to have a great dinner, and then we danced.. I really enjoyed myself... it was special!!! today, I studied italian literature, I read a chpater of my Spanish book and studied Rusian... (I study foreign languages at university).. besides, I have tidy my house up!! now I'm mylotting and surfing in internet and I'm about to eat.. here in Italy it's 8.08 p.m Happy mylotting and happy new year...

I spend it at work being miserable since ill probally have to go out in the freezing cold weather. This is why I hate working on new years I find it to be a bad oman I think you should be happy on the first day of the year and not miserable.

I have to work in fact i am leaving shortly.

Happy New Year! I thought I will have sometime to rest today after all the family gatherings that we had yesterday. But my father told me that we have to go to his brother's house in the next village. So all of us went there and had a dinner there. I had some fun time with my family and relatives, even if we only had a few hours to spend together. As of now, I just logged in to myLot and have some photos uploaded.

I spent the first day of the year like any other day. For me, all days are one and the same. The so-called new year day is nothing but a farce. Nothing new happens; everything remains the same. We can celebrate the new year day to the highest extent possible, but it absolutely make no difference.
