That happened to me, I had them surgically removed. All of them at once. I was put to sleep and Im telling you its well worth it. After a while, that thing is going to start killing you.

So far it's only one, but i can see how it's going to drive me batty. If i chew on that side towards the back, i can feel it pushing oddly on the tooth since it's laying on it's side. Odd stuff. I was hoping that i wouldn't have to worry about them, my orthodontist told me i might not have to. I think that was only if they grew in straight though. I have enough room for them if they would, i had to have several surgeries on my mouth during high school.

Hmmmm...no...that sounds like more pain than getting them extracted! Cheaper though.....

Ouch, you'd probably pass out instantly from the pain..

I think the challenge would be more trying to figure out HOW to get the ice skate that far back into my mouth. I would then have to figure out how to get enough momentum behind it to knock the bugger out.

Dentists cost money.. and lots of it. :( I'm good for now anyways, it's not hurting me, just weird feeling against my tongue or if i chew on that side of my mouth.

I will probaly end up looking for one sometime in the near future. I just haven't worried about it yet since they aren't really bothering me much. If i were in pain i would probaly go to the free or low income clinic here, or get a recommendation from them about where i ought to go for a sliding scale.
