I want to sell on ebay so here is one thing I am unsure of. I know that they charged a bit for putting our stuffs up on the pages and they charge it on the credit card. So, what if the goods were not sold? Are they going to charge on the credit card? or deduct from the paypal account if we have enough balance in the paypal account? And is the charge a one time free? or monthly?

they charge you each month, and basically you pay 10-15 days after you listed or sold stuff with paypal if you have set that up to do so. they have an autopay feature that you will pay them automatically if you so choose so be carefull not to list more then you can afford to pay ebay. I would suggest using alternative sources to ebay if you are trying to sell lots to keep your costs down.

If you list something they charge you a listing fee for trying to sell it. The fee is on your credit card. Even if the item does not sell you are charged the listing fee. It it sells you are charged the listing fee plus a selling fee. If your item sells for 4.00 they take the listing fee plus another .50 cents. You can choose to pay the bill through paypal but if you don't pay it then it will be charged to your credit card. You are basically charged for everything you do on ebay so if you are going to sell stuff do some research first to make sure you are listing items that will sell and have sold in the past for a price you can live with. Hope this helps.

There is still one thing I am unclear of, you said we can choose to pay through paypal. Does this apply after they have sent the invoice to us? Then we can proceed the payment with paypal? I remember I was asked to pay with credit card first for the paypment though. I was looking to how pay by using paypal but didn't find it.

Yes they charge everything. Sometimes I feel so frustrated especially if some of my items are unsold. I don't really feel that I am gaining profit because what I earned from ebay is just good enough to pay the fees they charged me so goodluck
