My husband is a neat freak. He would clean from sunrise to sunset. I think his favorite thing is a well stocked cleaning bucket. Does your husband clean house?

I beg my husband to stay away from the laundry. He can clean any room in the house, but I restrict him from the laundry.

Well arent you lucky!!! hehe! No, my fiancee doesnt clean. Well he does what he thinks is cleaning. And I appreciate even the small things he does...but what I think is cleaning and what he thinks is cleaning are two different things.

Everyone should do his/her part, even the kids. It instills confidence, self-worth, and a good base for when they have a household of their own.

My ex-husband never cleaned. It was the "womans job". He did take the garbage, occasionally that is. He said that if I put the garbage in front of the door on the days he needed to put it out, that would help him remember. I put a 25 gallon bag of trash in front of the door, as he requested. His friend was downstairs in the parking lot blowing his horn. This man stepped over the bag and tried to leave it. I blew a gasket!!!!!

My husband God love him, also cleans house. Every Sunday morning when I come home from work I smell the bleach before I open the door. He cleans the bathrooms mops the floor and I vaccuum if he hasn't done so yet. He also does the laundry. I guess because he was a bachlor for 45 years. Also his mom raised him right. I try to raise my boys to do things for themself. I didn't want them to get married just to have someone take care of thier house.

I don't have a husband yet.... *sigh*... Haha, just kidding - I'm PERFECTLY happy right now! When my prince does come, though, I'll want him to be a perfect combination of a neat freak and a lazy bum. I don't want him to be a slob and expect me to do EVERYTHING... but I also don't want him to be so uptight about everything being perfect that he can't relax! My dad drives my mom insane on Saturdays because he always wants to get up early and do the dishes/laundry/etc. - she's a teacher, so she's exhausted and just wants to relax when the weekend rolls around :)

Your dad sounds like he is related to my husband. He jumps in right after breakfast. I am not finished with my coffee and he is grabbing the vaccuum. I just want to kick back, read, or whatever.

Oh my dad will take my cup to put it in the dishwasher before I'm even done with it! That annoys me a little bit... but everything else I'm ok with. I don't like picking up (straightening or putting away all the junk in the house)... but I do like the actual cleaning process. I'd clean a toilet any day over having to fold and put away laundry!

My husband never cleans house..it would be a miracle if he would do it, but it would be wonderful if he would help clean once in a while.

I wish we could all be that lucky. My husband doesn't mind cleaning now and then, but he usually just sits his but on the couch and lets me do all the work. It is a rare thing, basically a cold day in hell, when he does anything other than some minor picking up. The scrubbing and everything else is all me!
