New Years Outfit?

Nothing special for me. I was a bit sick so I was decked out in my pajamas and a robe all day. I spent most of the time taking medicine and staying in bed. It was no big deal because I didn't really have any plans for New Years anyway. It's just another regular day for me.

jan 1st, 2009 is just an ordinary day for me. no extra food preparations, no special clothes to wear. just the usual food preparations and the usual clothes i wear daily. home clothes it shall be as i will just be staying home during the whole day. i never make so much fuss about whatever occasions there might be except for those important days in connection with some religious celebrations. with religious celebrations however, we never concern ourselves so much with so much food to prepare. the food that we bring will always be the usual fare that we take at home. as for the clothes it will have to be all white for women and white tops for men and slacks for pants.

I don't wear anything special for New Years day. I don't make a big deal out of New Years. It's just another day but just a tad more special than the rest of the year because it is the beginning of a whole new year.

Hello vanonas. I don't have special outfit for the new year. To me, it is just an ordinary day, but when it comes to our lunar new year's first day, it matters a lot. You know why? Because the first day of the lunar new year is considered to be our first day of the new year, which is our traditional Spring Festival in China. By then, everyone wears new outfit or clothes to make sure that good luck follows us in the new year. Happy New Year to you and Good luck to you as well, friend.

On New Year's Eve I wore black pants and a really cute purple top with a satin bow around the neck. I wore my little black ballet style shoes with a kitten heel that I always call my 'party shoes' because they remind me of my special dress shoes when I was little. I think all in all I looked pretty darn good - I definitely got a lot of attention!
