I used to use Yahoo but all of my friends use MSN so I switched over to it.

i use skype. The voice is clear in skype and the server they use never let's you down, but it does not have chat rooms like yahoo, but you can always chat with your friends.

I use Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. On Linux I will use Kopete.
For IRC I use X-Chat. X-chat is my favorite IRC client because it is a cross platform irc client but its not free for windows user. But distributed as a free software on Linux and Mac OS.

I use MSN messenger most of the time for chatting. For talking I use skype.

I use Yahoo Messenger mainly
and have used the gmail talk a number of times too MSN/hotmail sometimes...

Old times ago I use MIRC , but now I use yahoo messenger to chat with my friends. we can chatting use voice or webcam , its make chatting be happier and more enjoy.
