I don't know what people expect a cell phone to do... As for me, if it makes a phone call & sends & receives messages, good enough for me... Because of my work, I have blackberry pearl & it's been really good to me... I have used I-Phone, older version & newer 3G version, & I can't seem to find one single feature on it that I can't do on my blackberry, as far as features I need... As far as the price of the phone goes, remember when motorola's "razor" first came out? Everybody & their mother went out & got one, lol... Now they can't give it away... I don't know... I'm not too crazy about I-Phone myself but some people love it... Well, I'll stick to my blackberry (pearl 8120)... It does everything I need it to do & I got it practically for free, through work... I can't see myself changing my phone unless I change my work or positon within my work...

I personally love my blackberry I did not jump on the i-phone bandwagon. All my friends who have the i-phones love them. I just could not see paying that much for a phone. I know it does alot but it was too rich for my wallet at the time LOL and still is.

Yeah thats a good question, there are so many security issues, maybe some people like the touch screen

My guess is the features of the iphone. But I totally agree with you that the phone is not even that great. I have heard so many people complain about the iphone, and have dropped the services. I know that I will never give the iphone a test drive, with so many reviews that people have said on it. I'm like forget it, I don't want to waste my money.

iPhone is from Apple this is the only reason why iPhone is that much popular. I accept it has many high features but it some basic features are missing in it. For example i did not find a way to forward my text message to other mobile number.

iphone is not user friendly like other models..its popular cos of its brand and marketers :)

maybe its just the brand that sells.. but you are right, iphone isnt good at all. you cannot share anything via bluetooth and you cannot forward messages and half its features are not even available in my country,india.

I think IPhone is popular becoz of its brand name i.e APPLE( IPOD ROCKS but IPHONE DOESNT )and its price, had it not been that costly no one wud have asked about it too much, and moreover the features in the phone arent that good, u cant even SMS, no video recording facitlity, and many oder features dat doesnt make it VALUE for MONEY.... Its only the Brand Name which is making it popular, nothing else it seems..
