Is your god in control?

This thought came to me after several discussions I've had with different people of different faiths. I see it as one of the many big differences between them. Even amongst different sects of the same religion. It also seems to be a major difference in core beliefs.
So, do you beleive your god, gods, or godesses are in control? Or do you beleive we each have control of ourselves? The idea of free-will or predestination. Do you think it is possible to beleive in both free-will and predestination? Why or why not?
DISCLAIMER: this is not meant to cause a ruckass, but to share ideas. No one has 100% of the truth, we can only share what we beleive and why we beleive it. So, no condemning or criticizing each other for those beleifs, PLEAZE!!!!!!!!

In my thought yes I do believe god is in control if we let him be.
I have let him be in control of more situations that I just couldn't bare
anymore but thought I could on my own. It really depends on if a person believes or not.

So, god is in control on a personal basis, if we allow him to be? I can accept that, it is pretty much how I see things as well. But what do you think about the grand scheme of things? Are God's hands in the mix when we think of the nation, world, or universe?

K Lubi, the god you beleive in is in control of the universe. I can accpt that too, and also beleive God is in control of the sun moon and stars. Since your point was different than remembering's it would have been nice to have these in different responses. What about every day life. The wars, hunger, sickness, and all that....is your god in control of those things too?
