i agree i just started to do this and am not really sure how it all works if you all want to help clue me in that would be great but as far as the bragging goes i could do with out it myself i find it tacky and less than human....

I don't brag 'coz I have nothing (yet, lol) to brag about my earnings here. No, I have nothing against these people who are very much "vocal" about how much they have earned here in myLot. In fact, I am encouraged by them to do better or participate more in here! If no one will constantly remind us that there are indeed a lot of posters here who benefited from myLot financially, then we will not have any motivation at all to reach a certain amount because we would be content to just come in here and post even nonsensibly. Let us not forget that this people come here to make money, so it is no big deal if they "reveal" every now how much they have earned, or how much profit they have got from investing their time here in myLot. Afterall, isn't it what myLot primarily is here for? just my 2 cents worth of thought, friends.:)

First off I don't have the time that other people have to be here. Second to me it is not neccessarily about the money, I try only to answer quality discussions. If I wanted to answer A/S/L questions all night I would go to yahoo. That is precisly why I haven't used any of the message boards, other than mylot, lately. This should only be about quality not quantity.

LOL! Thanks for this discussion! I have to agree with you and i've came across 1 member who actually achieved 300-500 in 2- 3 days. Then i found out that he/she actually posted a oneliner in all the discussions responded and sometimes, he will just copy from other's respond and paste it as his/her own. This is those members who will brag with their ratings and incomes, which i dont feel that there's anything to be proud of. We are looking for quality, not quantity!

i definately agree with you on this one ! i mean i have tried to spend time on here but i have a life and sometime it just gets in the way ! iam sure alot of you feel the same ! sometimes its nearly imposible to be here for 1 hour a day let alone 8 or more.

I havent made very much. I find myself reading more than posting. I've been responding alot less than I used to because of all the silly repeat questions over and over again. I'm also irritated that Mylot will delete really good discussions where people are discussing and debating and keeping all of the silly ones that require one word answers.

Some of those people just say that so people will respond in their postings. I've seen some that say I made $25 with only 5 postings. I don't think that is possiable, I could be wrong though depending on there refferrals.

I do find alot of people on here brag about how much they earn, but also some people arent bragging and just want to share it with others like myself for example i know i have done posts where i have said i have earnt such and such and so many days but i am not doing it because i think i am great and so i can brag i do it cause i want to share my news with others, I dont do it to run it in others faces but yes some people do, I do it more so people know that it is possible to do instead of just giving up hope and quiting before they get a chance to earn good money!

I don't know if they're really bragging about it. Some countries seem to think this is a lot of money, where people in the USA think this is pocket change. You know what I think it is? I think they've ran out of discussion ideas to be honest. I've commented in about 3 discussions about it, but I think it should stop. Afterall, who goes around telling strangers or even family members about how much they get paid? Some people are very private about it. To each their own, I guess.

As much as that irks me, I generally go take a peek at there discussions, and the ones they have answered, and most are simple discussions that take very little thought. In my mind simple answers and simple discussions can be done by anyone, but I'd rather take pride in what I write, and do a little research to back up any topic I discuss. Most of those who brag about what they are making, post nonsense anyway. Now, the best way to handle them is to not reply to that type of post, or give it a negative rating. It will send them a message when they begin to see a decline in what they are making. When I discuss something or respond, generally, I will research a little and I will also use quality keywords and keyphrases, which is probably the key to how this site generates revenue to pay us from. I write content articles normally, and I know a bit about SEO, and this helps.

yes. like yesterday, someone brag saying that he earns this much and it seems to be impossible and he even suggested wrong advise like hit a negative buttom so you will earn more. really annoying.

Hey There, Thanks for your post. I too am having a lot of fun here at MyLot. I find it interesting to see what topics others post and reading some people's stories, opinions, etc. But, yes bragging about how much you earn tends to seem a little juvenile. For one, since we are all making a few cents per post, why feel the need to brag about it. If you choose to spend your entire day on here posting, then that's your business. Most of us have lots of other productive things we do with our time. I make money doing lots of other things, but I just don't feel the need to tell every detail of that to everyone here online. I figure if you are making a little and having fun on here then its worth spending your time on. So, rather than making it a competition, let's stick with interesting topics, fun discussions, and have a little fun with this! Thanks to Cloud_kicker for starting this discussion. I take it or leave it some have to brag makes em feel good...But I honestly don't think they are all doing it to brag...I think a lot of them are just excited. I have other stuff I do during the day so don't sit on here like some nor do I post those yes or no question or what color are my eyes. lol that annoys me more than the money stuff

yeah. this would be bothersome if i expierienced it much. i have not seen alot of bragging happening im my expierience with mylot. the only thing i have seen is people tryin to help each other out.

I'm not really bothered by it. I don't know if it's necessarily bragging as they are excited to share it with us. It motivates me to try to do better to make more money. I don't think they are doing it to show in a negative light.

i agree wid u..one of d reasons being that there r different internet charges that is applied depending on d provider..the more u use the more u r charged for it..n u don even make that much by using myLot.
