I love tv marathons of the old classics the best. I also love the Lucy ones. She to me was the funniest comedian ever. She sure did herself in a lot of trouble most of the time, and Ethel would try to help her out of them, mostly by keeping them from Ricky. I think I have seen every episode, hundreds of times, but I will continue to watch them.

@rosekiss Oh Lucy was great! I also love Carol Burnett, those two are icons. What I Ioved about the Carol Burnett show was when they slipped out of character and would break down and laugh at what they were saying and doing.

@howard96h I really never watched Carol Burnett, even though she is really funny. Another show I like is the Hooneymooners. Jackie Gleason was a riot. Sure do miss those shows, as they are much better than what is on tv nowadays. however I can watch Gilligan's Island on TVLand.

@Micmac I like the old black & white honeymooners, later on when the color show was made from Miami Beach, FL., I did not enjoy them as much. The actors were much older by then.

Is that on cable? As I don't have cable and the only thing that was on was soaps and at night I ended up watching the news and then trying to watch D. Clarks New Years count down. But fell asleep on couch. I would love to be able to watch the Jeffersons again. I really liked that show. Have a nice night

I have watched "I Love Lucy", "The Jeffersons" and "All In The Family" among others. Those old sitcoms are so classic and priceless. Anytime I mention an old TV Show to my young adult sons, they hardly know what I am talking about. That proves how young they are and they are ages 24 and 19.

Yea, proves how young they are and how old we are! LOL Remember they never had to get up to adjust the volume on the tv or channel the channel like we did when there was no such thing as a remote control.

I use to watch them too but they weren't my favorite, I'd prefer Abbott & Costello or Laurel & Hardy over the Three Stooges.

They do that here as well, Howard. We don't have tv so we are spared the constant reruns.I prefer the Jeffersons myself or Different Strokes.

Not on any channels I get (don't have cable). However, An Inconvenient Truth will be shown at 8:00 tonight on a channel I DO get, so I'll be watching that.

Yes, it is. Unfortunately, I missed part of it because an aunt & uncle phoned to pass on New Year's greetings.

They were having the Honeymooners marathon on channel 11 here..and was watching quite a number of them....always loved that show and consider it a real old time classic. As for other "marathons"--since I don't have cable I sure miss out on a lot..nuts I wasn't even able to watch the usual marathon of A Christmas Story on TNT on Christmas Eve and Day...
