What is the best christmas gift you've received this Christmas 2008?

what is the best christmas gift you've received this Christmas 2008? I think it is probably the DVD player my boyfriend gave me. Dont get me wrong, but I really appreciate all the gifts I have received. And I have been using the pink cup that was given by a friends's friends who is also now my friends.
The reason is maybe because I personally choose it. I went shopping with him and asked him of this. Its not an expensive DVD player. But it can read all types of format. If you have burned for example .avi files in a blank DVD, you will be able to see it as file folders.
The DVD also has a USB slot. So if your friend comes over, he doesnt need to bring several of DVD cases. Its handy, light and the remote control is soft and idiot-proof I may say. The brand is Phillips by the way, and it has 2 years warranty. Well its not much of a fuzz if ever it gets worn out as its only S$89. almost the cheapest in that store actually.
So whats the best christmas gift youve received... so far last year's Christmas?

The best gift I've received for Christmas was not really a material thing. It was a call from my 4 year old nephew asking me when I'm coming home coz he misses mo so much. It was such a joy and quite tearful to be honest.

I should be buying a new cellphone with the hundred dollars I won from an online activity contest but my son bought me a cellphone as my christmas gift, good I spent the money in some other things. I considered tats one of the best chrsitmas gifts as I considered winning the 100 dollars prize sponsored by Boraxo at Yuwie as the best christmas gift as well. Happy New Year...

I think that the best gift I received for Christmas was also one that my fiance got me. He got me The Sims 2, I know it's been out for awhile but we got The Sims (which I also know has been out for awhile) not too long ago. I like Simulation games, and it's inexpensive since it was used, and well from the Game Cube.
Wow, a DVD player for that much? I guess with all the features it's not expensive at all. I'm simple though, so I'd probably have opted for the less expensive ones. Not saying anything bad about your choice though, I'm sure it will last for years!

I receive a two pair of bags from a friend abroad. I like it very much for it added to my collection. I am collecting bags actually an this bags i think is the most precious one for it is my only gift i receive this christmas. Honestly i havent meet with my friends outside, maybe they will hand me a gift after this long holiday break. Aside from that i have bought a gift from myself too, i buy a new pair of white gold earings and ring. I like it very much. Happy new year.
