YES!!! i did have a good night sleep. i celebrated it with my family. we've had bbq, salad, pancit canton and a cake. though i only spent it with my aunt's family and cousins - i did really have a good time. feels like home. i also got some presents, belated ones, and it was very thoughtful of them. so new year was spent with a heartwarming celebration. looking forward to what my 2009 will be. how about you guys? happy new year to all! =) cheers!

We didn't do anything big. We went out to eat and then came home, watched t.v. and played scrabble before the ball dropped. My fiance and I didn't go to bed until late, but that's nothing unusual. Happy New Year To You As Well! Hope All Your Resolutions Come True!

I agree, but I had to almost make a mistake to find this one. I am sure that one day, if you just keep your happy face, you'll find the one for you. I approved your friends invite!

not really. my nephew who has a bad cold kept crying the whole night so i need to stand up and carry him. he can sleep lying down so we need to put him in a sitting position. he was really grumpy and only 3 months old so we need a lot of patient. but i am okay i grab some snores in the afternoon.

After celebrating New Year's Eve, I eat a lot of things and can not get into sleep very fast. So I play the internet till very late in the night. I watch some movies and chat with my friends a lot. I am very happy that night. Happy new year to every one!

Hi totallyundecided, You are very lucky to have a good night sleep during new year eve. I am one of those who are not able to sleep for the whole day until last night for their is a very loud music in my neighbor house. Too bad for they are so inconsiderate of their nighbor feeling. Infact i made some discussion about it. Have a look and comment if you like. Happy new year. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1854711.aspx?p=1#2_18675288

Yes I had a good night sleep!!! And I woke up late too. We had pasta, Ham, blue berry cheese cake and home made ice cream. It's fun because my relatives join us during the feast and we had a nice chat with one another! I just missed the famous hot chocolate of my Aunt. Our New Year is lack without it. But hey!!! We really had fun together.

You're from the Philippines too?! If so, just look at the back of Nestle Cream pouch and you will see a recipe with coffee. It should be some sort of refrigerated cake but when my siter and I made it. It became an ice cream so we do the procedure and called it an ice cream by accident. Try it then put some chocolate chips and other nuts so that you have an ice cream.

I spent my New Year with my parents. We are just three so not that big celebration. As tradition, we had our family prayer when 12 midnight strike and after we eat the food we prepare. I just made fruit salad, mango float and some barbeque. We joined making noises to cast away those bad lucks and after that i came back working online as i have nothing else to do. I went to sleep 3am and i had a very good sleep. happy new year to all!

No I barely got any sleep on New Year's eve really. I stayed at a friend's house with my girlfriend and they have a brand new puppy that get's up at random points in the night. I remember laying down with my girlfriend around like three o'clock in the morning and then waking up around eight because my friend had to let her puppy out. I couldn't go back to sleep really because then my girlfriend had to get up and get ready for work. Then all of my friends started waking up and I figured what's the point.

Hi there! You are very lucky, you celebrated the New Year with your family. About me, sad to say I was alone in my home abroad. Online chatting with my family during the New Year's eve celebration, virtually connected to Philippines. Feel asleep at 1 a.m. KSA time and wake-up the following morning with a new day of year 2009.

hi fga. let me guess, you are a nurse? =) that's okay. because last christmas, i was alone too but not lonely. i hope you don't feel lonely. at leat somehow you found yourself connected to the net. lol. at least you are able to chat with some friends. my mom is in KSA too. jeddah to be exact. she works in a hospital and she too, was alone during christmas and new eyar's eve. she spent those special moments in a ward. all we have are exchanging of text messages because she can't get through the lines. busy networks. lol. please do take care. i am aware of teh sacrifices of the OFWs and i salute them with all my heart. don't worry, sacrifices are rewarded. eat some glaaxy chocolates for me. i really miss that. take care and cheers to you! =)

My husband and I stayed home. Ate dinner and watched some television. We got out of the habit of celebrating New Years a long time ago. It is just the start of another year. That is big yes, but we just don't make a big deal out of it.

but you have your husband with you. that's very sweet, sunshine lady. you and an uncle of my shared something. he and my aunt also got out of the celebrating thing because they're on the thrift mode since they are both working very hard in London and that they spent their new year working on their shifts. thanks for your time. =) cheers to you and to your husband. HNY!
